Doctor by the UNED. Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia with the thesis El aprendizaje-servicio (A-S) en la Universidad del Pais Vasco (UPV/EHU) en el camino hacia su institucionalización 2014. Supervised by Dr. Beatriz Malik Liévano.

Doctor in Education (2014 – Extraordinary Prize) by the UNED, Bachelor in Pedagogy (2001) and Master in Special Education (2003) by the University of Deusto. She is an associate lecturer in the Department of Didactics and School Organization. She teaches at the Social Education Grade. He has carried out several research and training stays in Chile and Argentina. She has taken part in several innovation projects, highlighting “Pro2kain. She has participated as a researcher in R+D+I projects of MINECO and European research projects Erasmus +. She has also participated in different researches as Co-IP and researcher promoted through the collaboration between the Degree of Social Education and social entities and institutions through the Council/Observatory of degree. Among her main lines of research are the inclusion of people in vulnerable situations, service-learning and critical university. She has a six-year research period recognised by the CNEAI. From 2018 to 2022 she has been Vice-Dean of Internships and FDP of the Faculty of Education of Bilbao. She has received the GORAKIDE distinction, "for her commitment to people with intellectual disabilities", and is a member of the ZERBIKAS Foundation and collaborator of the URTXINTXA school in Bizkaia.
