Associate Professor in the Department of Didactics and School Organization at the University of the Basque Country / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. Doctor in Pedagogy, Pedagogue, Master in Special Education and Diploma in Early Childhood Education Teaching. She has also been trained in a biennial course on educational psychomotor practice and in a specialization course in Early Childhood Care. Her research has delved into various subjects related to the field of educational and social inclusion, specifically in community action and groups in vulnerable situations such as people with disabilities and people with rare diseases. She is a member of the research group KIDEON and INKLUNI. She has participated in research projects (UFI in Education, Culture and Society; Accredited Group Category A Basque Government; Accredited Group Category B Basque Government; Consolidated Group of the UPV/EHU; R+D+i; University-Business-Society; Erasmus+; OTRIs) and several projects of educational innovation, one of them in the specialized group modality. She has made several stays as a visiting professor in Spain (Seville, Vigo), UK (Sheffield, Exeter, Southampton), Denmark (Aalborg), Italy (Florence), Holland (s-Hertogenbosch), Ecuador (Quito), Chile (Talca) and Turkey (Akdeniz). He has a six-year research period recognized by the CNEAI, three five-year periods, Docentiaz Excellent 2023 and Full Professor Accreditation.
