Irantzu Barrio Beraza (University of the Basque Country, UPV/EHU, irantzu.barrio@ehu.eus) has a degree and a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of the Basque Country in 2006 and 2015, respectively. She is currently an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics at the UPV/EHU and a researcher at the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics (BCAM). She has published more than 30 scientific articles in mathematics, experimental sciences, and health sciences indexed journals. She has participated in 28 research projects, networks, and research groups and actively participates in disseminating and transferring statistics.
