Amaia Jone Betzuen Álvarez is a Ph.D in Business Management from Innovation and Internationalization perspective. Title of the thesis: Development of a calibration model for losses due to risks inherent to a Reverse Mortgage. Metrics of Survival Risk (07/05/2016). Qualification: Outstanding Cum Laude She obtained the Extraordinary Ph:D Award. UPV-EHU (2018). Throughout her professional career she has taught different subjects related to Business Administration and Management (FINANCE and ORGANIZATION area) at the UPV-EHU, combining it during the years 2008-2010 with her profession as financial-fiscal advisor at BBK (Current Kutxabank). She is currently a trilingual PDI at the UPV-EHU. She has carried out several research stays at internationally (USA) and has been a visiting professor at universities in France and Italy teaching Master's degree seminars related to financial ethics and professionalism based on the European Directive MiFID and MiFIDII. Likewise, she has made several oral presentations at International Congresses related to her research area and has published articles in scientific quality journals (see CV). Her line of research focuses on the following fields: Financial Management, MIFID regulations and good banking practices, Financial advice, Behavioral Finance, Professionalism, Financial Well-being of the Elderly, Aging and Financial planning for the silver population.
