Resumen

El estudio parte de la comprensión de la infancia en situación de vulnerabilidad. Por lo tanto, la forma en que los diferentes profesionales actúan durante esa etapa demuestra ser un aspecto esencial para impulsar su bienestar. En este sentido, el artículo examina dos perspectivas teóricas de menores en situación de vulnerabilidad y desprotección, haciendo una distinción entre protección infantil y bienestar infantil. Se presenta el estudio de caso desarrollado en un municipio del País Vasco desde el trabajo que se ha llevado a cabo con la comisión socioeducativa del mismo y la mirada que los agentes socioeducativos que la componen depositan en dicho colectivo de niños, niñas y adolescentes. Para ello, optamos por una metodología cualitativa y participativa, centrada en el análisis de documentos y entrevistas semiestructuradas. Finalmente concluimos que la perspectiva que los agentes socioeducativos municipales tienen está basada en el bienestar infantil.
