Abstract

The integration of higher education in the European Space forces us to rethink issues that go through the reformulation of teaching-learning strategies, as well as changes in the evaluation system. This is the framework in which the training proposal is presented under the title of ‘Group control and exhibition of today’. An initiative based on cooperative learning that helps students acquire one of the basic skills in journalistic writing subjects in the first year of communication degrees from the different faculties of Social Sciences and Communication. Traditional current affairs tests based on question-answers are ineffective as each course shows a greater lack of interest in current affairs. That is why the work of a current topic in a group is proposed in which the intervention of the class converted into a writing is promoted..
