Abstract

In this opinion article, we propose that, in order to expose students to multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives, it may be beneficial to use a topic of great interest and significance, to motivate them to face the challenge of overcoming the traditional disciplinary approach. In this sense, the possibility of adopting climate change as a driving force and guiding principle to promote multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teaching is presented. To this end, some thematic links with climate change are presented from twelve disciplines of knowledge taught at high school level.
