Abstract

During 2005, some of cybernewspapers in the Basque Country started hostingblogs written by their journalists or qualified guests to keep in touch with theaudience. There is a wide range of topics, authors, updates and the possibilitiesof receiving comments and interactive ways are very different too. It enrichesthe ideas published through the posts, drawing a deeper content. They addpictures, blog links and the access to a huge archive with all their posts. Behindthis activity, the intention of creating communities.On this text, we analyze the cybernewspapers “author blogs” or “signed blogs”in the Basque Country: elcorreodigital.com, diariovasco.com, gara.net, hitza.infoand uztarria.com.
