Resumen

Presentamos un estudio de caso en el que se da protagonismo a dos personas con trastorno del espectro autista (TEA), un familiar y varios profesionales de una asociación de referencia (APNABI). Los profesionales que trabajan con personas con TEA y sus familias deben ofrecer una respuesta adaptada a las diversas necesidades que presentan estas personas durante todo su ciclo vital. Este artículo tiene un doble objetivo: primero, busca esclarecer lo que se considera una buena práctica en relación con el TEA y, segundo, pretende aportar algunas recomendaciones para la formación de profesionales que trabajan en este ámbito. Durante la investigación se ha realizado una revisión de la literatura sobre la definición de buenas prácticas en relación con el TEA y un análisis de toda la información recogida a través de tres entrevistas y un grupo de discusión. Mediante estas herramientas se han identificado varios elementos clave para considerar en la formación de los profesionales de este ámbito.
