Abstract

Syllabi are considered educational resources that establish the nuclear elements of teaching and learning processes. In this study, seven university professors analyse the syllabi of two University Master's Degrees of the University of the Basque Country using a rubric developed by the research group ODAS, with the objectives of evaluating the informative quality of the syllabi and analysing the consistency of the rubric. The hypotheses presuppose optimal informational quality of these guides as well as a homogeneous evaluation of the experts, although the results obtained show deficient information and significant differences between the assessments of evaluators, which leads to the need to improve the consideration of syllabi as educational tool, as well as the need to reflect on a more tight conceptualization of the terms of the rubric that make further evaluations be more homogeneous and precise.
