Resumen

The Online Communities of Practice promote a form of learning based on mutual commitment and continuous communication between people with a common goal. In this paper an investigation based on an Educational Innovation Project at the university level where an online community of practice for the development of a subject Grade was created is presented. The research is based on the analysis of the utility variable. This variable is an aspect that influences the effective development of the learner within the Online Communities of Practice. Among the results it highlighted that there is a direct relationship between the utility of the Online Community of Practice perceived by students and their satisfaction towards university task.
