This paper is based on the need to accept the different ways of in-teracting with knowledge, both students and lecturers, at a university environment. This paper begins with a presentation of different teaching andlearning styles and a diagnosis of how the teaching and learning proc-esses are carried out at the Faculty of Economics and Business-Elcano section. The purpose of this analysis is twofold: firstly, guiding and helping students to be aware of how they learn and thus, enabling them to rely on their strengths in order to improve their learning process; secondly, teachers are expected to be aware that their students learn in different ways, and to analyze if the learning environments they generate are adapted to the needs of their students. Finally, the research proposes including the mechanisms for gathering information and guidance in the strategic plan of the university centers, and getting the involvement of all the staff.
