Abstract

A study about the academic yield of the first course students of two Engineering Degrees has been developed, which has allowed the detection of diverse formativc lacks in the students that start these degrecs. As a consequence, a zero virtual course has been designed as the support for the acquisition of the necessary contents and skills for obtaining the specific competences of the mentioned subjects. A working group formed by the educational teams of the eight subjects of the first academic year has been created, and they have designed theoretical and practical activities for the different areas of knowledge. These activities have been incorporated into an agent of contents web that the students will use in their learning process before the beginning of each subject, This project will help to correct their deficiencies as well as reinforcc the acquired knowledge.
