Abstract

This article discusses the need of adapting the students’ learning processes to the multiplatform newsrooms. With this aim, the authors pay attention to the teaching strategies carried out in their respective countries, through the products ID126 (Brazil) and RedaCCiber (Spain). Thus, the text examines research questions such as 1) the skills and functions performed by the students; 2) the significance of theory and practice integration; and 3) the experimentation with innovative storytelling techniques. The article concludes that even if online journalism teaching admits different approaches, it must adjust students’ level of expertise for making them capable of editing and reporting digital stories.
