Abstract
This paper analyzes the learning approach used by the students and examines whether the use of active methodologies modifies their approach. For this purpose the Biggs designed R-SPQ-2F questionnaire is performed. The questionnaire was answered, in a first place, by a total of 273 students of different courses and, in a second place by a group of 57 students after using active methodologies. It is observed that in all courses the average score of the deep approach overcomes the surface approach. Besides it is found an influence of active methodologies in the learning approach used.
