Abstract

The bibliography presented here aims to be an initial aproach to the study of the reception of the works by Bernardo Atxaga. The translation of Obabakoak (1988) to more than fourteen languages has taken Atxaga's work beyond the Basque literary area of influence, which has both entailed the multiplication of the number of readers and yielded a variety and a wealth of receptions unknown until now in Basque literature. In this study of reader's receptions, we suscribe to some of the views of the Aesthetics of Reception.
