Abstract
During the last decades, Archaeology has undergone deep changes in terms of theory and practice. The diffusion and socialization of the obtained knowledge is one of the most signifi cant factors in the new dimension of Archaeology. This text deals with the archaeological knowledge transmission in the Basque Autonomous Community and Navarre during the last decades and at present; at the same time as it is a refl ection on its role in future research programmes.
