Doctor by the Universidad del País Vasco - Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea with the thesis Teacher's intervention to in-person bullying and cyberbullying situations 2020. Supervised by Dr. Isabel Bartau Rojas, Dr. Brett E. Shelton.

Ph.D. in Education by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and Education Doctor by Boise State University (BSU) in Curriculum, instruction, and Foundational Studies; completing both programs simultaneously through the first cotutelle program between these two universities. After finishing her master's degree in Socio-educational Research at UPV/EHU, she worked as a teacher in the Basque Country in public and private schools and at Boiseko Ikastola (Boise, Idaho), where she decided to continue her studies by pursuing her Ph.D. She is a member of the GANDERE Research Group (https://www.ehu.eus/gandere), recognized and funded by UPV/EHU [GIU21/056]. She published various works on educational improvement and quality, coeducation, and bullying and cyberbullying in schools in international contexts. Participates in various funded research projects, nationally and at the European level, focused on school effectiveness, social media, key drivers, and guidance for the transition to adulthood for children and adolescents, both within and outside the child protection system. All of this is approached from a gender perspective. Currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Sciences at the Faculty of Education, Philosophy, and Anthropology (HEFA) at the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU).
