Doctor by the Universidad del País Vasco - Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea with the thesis Dietary and genetic factors associated with risk for development of colorectal cancer case-control study in a basque population 2020. Supervised by Dr. Marta Arroyo Izaga.

I hold a Diploma in Nutrition (2008) and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics (2013). I have earned two Master's degrees: one in Nutrition and Health (2010) and another in Public Health (2012). In 2020, I was awarded a PhD in Nutrigenomics and Personalized Nutrition with the highest distinction, cum laude, and an international mention for my doctoral thesis. During my doctoral studies, I completed a three-month research fellowship at the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging in Boston, USA. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health, where I am involved in teaching within the Bachelor's Degree program in Food Science and Technology.
