Doctor by the Universidad del País Vasco - Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea with the thesis Contributions to the design of power modules for electric and hybrid vehicles trends, design aspects and simulation techniques 2020. Supervised by Dr. Jon Andreu Larrañaga.

Telecommunications Engineer (2013) and Doctor of Telecommunications Engineer since 2020 (UPV/EHU), getting an international thesis qualified with an outstanding Cum Laude. Having completed an international stay in the DEAS group, Università degli Studi di Parma (Italy). Between 2010 and 2013 he was a scholarship recipient of the Aula Tecnalia at the EIB and a collaborating student of the APERT Group. In 2014 he worked as a Contracted Research Staff at the UPV/EHU and from 2015 to 2018 he enjoyed a predoctoral scholarship awarded by the Basque Government. During 2019 and 2020, he worked as an R&D Engineer at the Euskoiker Foundation, collaborating on the HiLumi LHC project in the design of high current DC/DC sources for CERN. Between 2021 and 2023, he worked as a Contracted Research Staff Doctor (Science Law, Art. 22) at the UPV/EHU and as a teaching collaborator in various Master's and Degree subjects. Since 2023 he has been a Doctoral Assistant Professor at the Vitoria-Gasteiz School of Engineering in the various subjects taught by the Electronic Technology Department. The main research line is the design of power electronics HW, specifically, converters based on WBG.
