Doctor by the Universidad del País Vasco - Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea with the thesis An emotional path to ourselves 2019. Supervised by Dr. Bernard Rimé, Dr. Nekane Basabe Barañano.

I am a psychologist from the University of Talca (2011) and PhD in psychology from the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU (2019). I am currently a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Social Psychology (UPV/EHU) and the Department of Social and Political Sciences (Pompeu Fabra). My main line of research has focused on the psychosocial effects of collective participation (e.g., collective rituals) at an intra- and inter-group level, such as collective emotions, the creation of new social identities, and various dynamics related to intergroup conflicts.
