Doctor by the Universidad del País Vasco - Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea with the thesis Incidencia de las Revoluciones en los Movimientos Sociales Transnacionales. El Caso de la Revolución Cubana y su Influencia en el Movimiento Antiglobalización 2014. Supervised by Dr. Alexander Ugalde Zubiri.

Lecturer in International Relations at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) since 2015. I completed my PhD in International Relations at the University of the Basque Country in 2014. Member of the consolidated research group of the Basque university system “Basque Country, Europe and America: Atlantic Links and Relations”. Programme Director of the MA in International Studies and member of the Equality Committee and Quality Committee at the Faculty of Social and Communication Sciences. I teach modules on International Relations and International Politics in the Present Day in the undergraduate degrees of Political Science and Public Administration and Audiovisual Communication, both in Basque and Spanish. At postgraduate, I teach International Political Economy and since 2022/23 a course on “International Revolutions. Revolution and Resistance in Latin America and the Caribbean”. My research interests include: Feminist IR/IPE, Transnational Social Movements, Revolutions, Gender Violence and Austerity, and Latin America and the Caribbean. I have published articles on these issues in journals such as International Political Sociology, Revista Electrónica de Estudios Internacionales, Revista CIDOB d’Afers Internationals, Foro Internacional or Jakin, as well as book chapters published by Bristol University Press, Icaria, Tirant Lo Blanch, or the Basque Summer University (UEU). Member of ISA, EISA, BISA and AEPDIRI.
