Doctor by the Universidad del País Vasco - Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea with the thesis Producción de olefinas a partir de polietileno por pirólisis y craqueo en línea 2013. Supervised by Dr. Roberto Aguado Zarraga, Dr. Martín Olazar Aurrekoetxea.
Bachelor in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Science and Technology in 2008. This year I started my doctoral thesis in the research group Catalytic Processes and Waste Valorization (CPWV). PhD in 2013 with the thesis entitled Light olefins from pyrolysis and in line catalytic cracking process, worthy of Extraordinary Doctorate Award. As part of my postdoctoral experience (UPV/EHU doctoral specialization grant for a period of two years), I spent five months at the University of Leeds (UK). The research carried out focuses on the valorization of waste (biomass, tires, plastics...) by pyrolysis and gasification, in order to obtain high added value products. Likewise, the study focuses on the pyrolysis and in-line reforming process, both of biomass and plastics, aimed at obtaining hydrogen. Thus, I have participated in 19 Research Projects, two of them as Principal Investigator, and 3 contracts with companies. I am co-author of 68 international articles indexed in the JCR. These articles have received a total of 6422 citations, which has led me to reach an h-index of 40. I have supervised a doctoral thesis with international mention and I am currently supervising another two in execution. I have two recognized research periods
