Doctor by the Universidad del País Vasco - Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea with the thesis Kudeaketa erreminta eta teknologia berrien garapenaren eragina produktuaren ingurumen-portaeran 2022. Supervised by Dr. Germán Arana Landín, Dr. Beñat Landeta Manzano.

Naiara Uriarte Gallastegi holds a PhD in Project Engineering from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Her research focuses on the intersection of corporate sustainability and Industry 4.0, exploring how emerging technologies—particularly artificial intelligence and robotics—can drive the transition toward sustainable and circular production models. She is a member of the “Technology for Business, Society and Sustainability” research group at UPV/EHU and contributes to international research initiatives such as ZIRKBOTICS and SOFIA, in collaboration with ESTIA Recherche and Tecnalia.
