Educación Sexual de las Personas con TEAUn Programa para Atender a la Diversidad Sexual

Resumen

This project aims at designing a program to address the sexual diversity of young peoplewith ASD. Initially, we intend to identify, know and describe the reality of the sexualeducation processes of these persons and the experiences that professionals and familieshave lived in this process. Therefore, will be applied a mixed methodology using qualitativeand quantitative techniques: interviews, participant observations and surveys. In thisprocess, we can identify difficulties and deficiencies of professionals and relatives tomanaging or responding to the sexual education process of the persons with ASD. Fromhere, areas and lines of improvement and strategies for acting will be proposed in order todesign a programme of sexual education aimed at young people with ASD. Through thisresearch, we intend to improve the educational action and helping collaborative work thatteachers and families do with these persons, favoring their sexual development andmaintaining, above all, a positive attitude enabling a generating strategy of continuousimprovement, and increasing their quality of life.
