Abstract
The dataset includes responses of 651 adolescents to the items of the <em>Self-Description Questionnaire II-Short (SDQII-S)</em> (Marsh et al., 2005). Participants belong to middle class families who attended urban schools (public in China and public and semi-private in Spain) and where from two countries, Spain [<em>n </em>= 262, 118 males (45%) and 144 females (55%), <em>Mage</em> = 16.50, <em>SD</em> = 0.87, range 15 to 18] and China [<em>n </em>= 389, 160 males (41.1%) and 229 females (58.9%), <em>Mage</em> = 16.55, <em>SD</em> = 0.64, range 15.10 to 17.92].
