Abstract

3D printing or additive manufacturing is expanding rapidly as it enables different ways of designing and manufacturing products. In fact, this technology makes it possible to create customizable properties and complex geometries. However, most 3D printing inks use organic solvents, so there is a need for developing new environmentally friendly formulations. In this work, different acrylic inks have been developed for 3D light printing using acrylic acid, diacrylated polyethylene glycol and phenylbis (2 4 6-trimethylbenzoyl) phosphine oxide (BAPO) or diphenyl (2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl) phosphine oxide (TPO) photoinitiators.
