Laburpena

This article examines the factors conditioning the evolution of food prices, which have contributed significantlË to general inflation in Spain. The observed evolution of prices in Spain and in world markets reflects that a substantial part of the inqation in food prices is imported from abroad, including factors of a global nature, related to conqicts or droughts. The proposals from different actors include collaborative efforts to overcome the atomization of the sector, logistical improvements and digitalization, dissemination of commercial, technological and organizational innovations, more transparency in the agri-food chain, and citizen education for healthy and responsible consumption.
