Abstract
The archaeological excavations carried out in several lithic structures in the Zug area, south of Tiris (Western Sahara), represent an advance in the knowledge of the chronotypology of pre-Islamic funerary monuments in the region with the addition of 13 new radiocarbon dates provided by the 12 burials identified. In addition, the organisation and morphology of the monuments, together with the characteristics of the burials, allow us to reflect on the burial and ritual formulas.
