Abstract

The acquisition of competences, both general and specific, defined for each degree represents one of the main objectives of the current University education. And in order to get the new students familiar with the competence concept and what we expect from them, they take part in the process of elaborate the rubric of evaluation that is going to be used for the oral presentation of Basic Cartography subject. For this activity is used a variant of the Jigsaw Classroom Tecnic, that allows to contrast opinions between different working groups. This make the final work better and more complete. The problem of working in groups is that not all the members work identically, and although they could make their own evaluation, it has been decided to give the same calification for all the group (thinking that this is more equality). The teacher wants to impulse a collaborative work between these first year students, and this way or learning having their own evaluation.
