Abstract
In the last decades research of a qualitative nature has resulted in processes such as aphorization, more typical of an information regime because they have activated an extractive perspective,losing the narrative and discursive orientation that both enrich them and, on the other hand, characterize them. In this context, we study here the question of silence in conversational research techniques, an aspect that is often ignored in the mentioned research processes, both in listening and in transcription, and whose relevance can be very significant from the analytical point of view.
