Abstract
Fibrous hyperplasia of the palatine tuberosities is the localized involvement of gingival fibromatosis. It is characterized by an enlargement of the gingival tissue, with a pink and firm appearance, which can alter chewing and phonation with aesthetic and psychological consequences in the oral cavity. We present the case of a patient referred from Primary Care physician to the Dentistry due to an asymptomatic and bilateral lesion on the palate.
