Abstract
Within a critical framework to the study of time and space categories in Anthropology, those which affect directly or indirectly the construction of gender are selected. It is understood that their knowledge helps us to understand processes of sexual hierarchy and are key to understand creative processes as well. Delimitations; center-periphery and the continuum between interior-exterior and those called bridge spaces are treated. Different concepts of time emerge as they correspond to the diversity of tasks and assignations.
