Resumen
Accurate sedimentologial analysis of the Albian Black Flysch in the Northern of Biscay, has led to the establishment of turbidite systems coming from a southern source. Basin geometry affected dramatically the depositional arquitecture and their evolution, leading to complex lateral and vertical facies changes through time and space. The occurence of these turbidite fans, reaching the northern margin of the Black Flysch trough, imp/ies new considerations on Albian paleogeography in the central sector of the Basque-Cantabrian basin
