Resumen

The complexity of modern technologies and theinterrelation between them increased exponentially during thepast XX century. Due to that a new general concept defining aComplex Technology as a technology including many interrelatedconcepts may be established. Electronics is not only an exampleof a Complex Technology but it also is a horizontal technologycombining with many others like Mechanics, to achieve newproducts or increasing the performance of existing ones.Furthermore, to design an actual engineering learning system itis necessary to consider not only pedagogical aspects but also self-learning ones in order that the engineering student achieves theadequate competence level. For this reason the authors developeda new engineering learning taxonomy in order to foster theconcept of integrated learning system (ILS) combining a tutorialwith the appropriate computer tools.
