Abstract

The present multiscreen culture offers quick answers and immediate reinforcement, but may hinder construct the meaning of messages to young people and, particularly, in those with Attention Deficit Disorder with or without Hyperactivity (ADHD). Therefore, this study compares media consumption, identification with characters and perceived values of two groups of adolescents (184 standard and 39 with ADHD). The results show that the group with ADHD see more hours of TV but has a moderate level of identification with the favorite character and perceived fewer values than the standard group.
