Resumen

Magnetic materials are key materials for the development of the present and future technologies. NdFeB magnets are important for the green energetic transition as these are used in electric motors and generators. They are also widely used in electronic devices as for example laptops or smartphones. NdFeB magnets are the ones with the biggest market share nowadays even though some critical chemical elements are in their composition as rare earths and cobalt. Their energy product is also the biggest among all the magnetic materials. Most of the NdFeB magnets are produced by liquid sinterization. Strip casting, milling, orientation, sinterization and annealing are the steps to follow to complete this powder metallurgy route.
