Abstract

Objectives: To compere dental health between fluoridate community and non fluoridate community after five years. Material and methods: Epidemiologic study of observation comparing two school samples, they are seven years old, one of them living in water fluoridation community and the other living in non water fluoridation community. 362 schoolchil- dren with mixed teeth was studied with habits questionnaries and oral exploration. Results: 15.3% children withouth caries experience in decidous teeth of the fluoridated community. 12.9% children withouth caries experience in permanent teeth. Evaluating oral hygiene there are more children withouth caries in control community. Conclusion: The caries experience in community with arti- ficial fluoridation drinking water is better than the non fluori- dated community, totally and with risk factors.
