Abstract
COVID-19 demands socioeconomic and health measures to protect society. Many corpora-tions are aligning their interests with social objectives as a way of answering to this demand. In the first place, this article analyzes how the logic of the gift contributes to a humanistic vi-sion of economic activity. Secondly, the theory of human action is proposed to make opera-tional the logic of the gift in corporations. Finally, this research will connect the introduction of the logic of the gift in corporations with the construction of a more resilient society to face present and future syndemics
