Abstract

The phenomenon of the press that emerged in the university sphere, in Bilbao and in the Basque Country in general, is a rich and very vital one. With a perspective of nearly 50 years it is possible to witness the evolution of this singular creation. From a highly ideological initial period it has passed on to journalistic products of pure information and services. This notable change has been accompanied by professional and technological change - from the cyclostyle to the rotary press.
