Resumen
The authors propose visual aid system that may be useful for some patients aged 40-70 years whose best eye's visual acuity ranges between 0,1 and 0,4. They include explanations of the lens power calculation procedure and the estimated image magnification, as well as the visual performance the patient can attain with this system. According to the first result of this ongoing study the authors conclude that the axial length of the ocular glob must be shorter than 29 mm. and that corneal lenses of less than -40 D were best tolerated.
