During the last four academic years, several subjects corresponding to the first and second year ofthe Degree in Computer Science have been taughtby applying active methodologies according to apreviously established implementation plan. Lastyear, we gathered information about this experiencefrom the teachers and students involved in thosesubjects. In this article, we show the implementation plan followed and the obtained results thatreflect the opinion of students and teachers. Byanalyzing these results, we can conclude that activemethodologies should also be applied in the subjects corresponding to the Software Engineeringmajor, in the third year. However, this could be alsotrue for the other majors: Computer Engineeringand Computing.
