Resumen

En este artículo se presenta una experiencia en Salud Pública de Terapia Familiar Sistémica en la Red Extrahospitalaria de Salud Mental de Álava desarrollada desde el año 2008. Se exponen los esfuerzos y dificultades encontradas, los beneficios y la eficacia de la intervención, incluyendo las familias atendidas desde el 2014 al 2017, con pacientes identificados desde la Unidad de Salud Mental Infanto-Juvenil de Álava. Se analizan las características de la demanda, la estructura familiar y la intervención llevada a cabo dentro de estas familias con el objetivo de reseñar la importancia de esta intervención a nivel de Salud Mental Infanto-Juvenil
