Abstract

In the Biosphere Reserves, in addition to working with biodiversity conservation, sustainable use and economic development, research and education are also supported. These are the tools used in this work to bring people with motor disabilities into two reserves, Urdaibai and Bardenas Reales de Navarra. The Points of Geologic Interest (POGI) have been reviewed, from the aspect of Universal Accessibility, with 5 adapted stops being established in each of the Reserves. These tours aim to allow people with Motor Disabilities to observe the noticeable geology in the landscape that surrounds them. This work, therefore, complies with two of the key areas of the Plan of Action of the Spanish Strategy on Disability 2014-2020: education and accessibility. This was created with the philosophy that the enjoyment of the environment should be a universal right for all people. It addresses three of the Sustainable Development Goals: 3- Good Health and Well-Being, 4- Quality education, 10- Reduction of inequalities.
