Políticas de rentas mínimas: ¿cómo afecta el cobro de la prestación a la inserción laboral?

Resumen

Las evaluaciones del impacto de las políticas de rentas mínimas analizan tanto su efecto sobre la reducción de la pobreza como sobre la inserción laboral. Algunas de las investigaciones más recientes muestran la efectividad de estas políticas en la reducción de la pobreza, así como su nulo o escaso efecto negativo sobre la inserción laboral. Con otras palabras, las políticas de rentas mínimas generarían un círculo virtuoso, de tal manera que la mejora de las condiciones materiales de los perceptores revirtiera positivamente en su incorporación al mercado de trabajo. La revisión de estas investigaciones es objeto del presente artículo.
