Resumen

In the coming years, e-mobility will play a key role in the decarbonization of the transport of passengers and goods. This will involve the massive implementation of electric vehicle charging points which will be connected to the low voltage grid. These devices are not neutral from the point of view of electromagnetic interferences, since they inject numerous disturbances into the propagation medium. This paper is focused on the fast amplitude variations of non-intentional emission over time generated by inverters of electric vehicle chargers in the low voltage grid. This work has three main contributions. Firstly, it shows representative occurrences of fast variation of nonintentional emissions during the charging process of a commercial electric vehicle. Secondly, it demonstrates the need of characterizing the variations in the time domain, due to their high amplitude. Lastly, results demonstrate that a statistical analysis and a selection of the appropriate metrics is needed to characterize the behaviour and nature of these variations.
