Resumen

A Teaching Project (TP) embodies the intentionality of the future as a lecturer and resolves issues such as: the specifications of the subject to be taught, the methodology to be followed, the evaluation criteria, etc. Therefore, the main objective of a TP is to specify what you want to teach, adapting it to the teaching context and to the students; considering various aspects, such as the teaching period, the way of evaluating, etc. The TP is the base for good teaching, but it must be updated and adapted continuously to social and university needs. This work describes two of the main pillars required to update and improve the TP on the subject of Thermotechnology at the School of Engineering of Bilbao, as they are:(1) the methodologies and strategies and,(2) the way to enhance Teaching Program itself. This work can serve as a guide for improvement of other projects and to offer an answer to the teaching-learning process; since, "when a student does not learn it is because he/she has not found the mediator he/she needs".
