Resumen

This poster presentation will describe the interdisciplinary innovation project that is being carriedout since 2014 in Foreign Language initial teacher training at the Faculty of Education, Philosophy andAnthropology, University of the Basque Country. The project is set in the context of the new competence based framework issued from the BolognaProcess. It aims at developing a new training model focused on reflective practice, where the creationand implementation of teaching activities and their analysis and evaluation take the central place in thespecialist teachers’ initial training. At the same time, it seeks to reinforce links between University andSchool, so as to create a network for innovative practices in Foreign Language teaching in the light ofthe type of activities and subsequent reflection carried out by our students in the experienced teachers’classrooms. The whole process is documented through video recordings and written evidence of students’activities and reflections that will feed in in a line of research around key elements of training inlanguage didactics.
