Oportunidades para la repatriación de actividades derivadas de la servitización y la Industria 4.0.: implicaciones territoriales y de política industria

Resumen

Los procesos de servitización e implantación de la industria 4.0 favorecen una nueva reconfiguración de la cadena global de valor, alterando los incentivos en la localización geográfica de las actividades productivas, y alentando una dinámica de reshoring en muchas industrias manufactureras, por la nueva incidencia relativa de los costes y las nuevas implicaciones territoriales para las cadenas de valor que refuerzan otras tendencias coincidentes. Este artículo explora cómo los procesos de servitización impulsan tanto el reshoring como la repatriación del outsourcing internacional. Para aprovechar esta dinámica, se recomiendan medidas específicas de política industrial para aquellos territorios con un contexto tecnológico, empresarial y de formación adecuado
