Resumen

The Digital Educational Materials (DEM) are innóvatele resources offered by the Information and Communications Technologies (ICT). The DEM are designed with educational purposes focused on specificneeds. These materials are pedagogical resources and facilitators f the teaching learning process in adigital format. Students interact with technological resources designed to enhance autonomous workand to improve their performance in different academic disciplines. This article describes the designof the educational material named ‘Evolution’. This DEM displays different challenges that strengthenmath, algorithmic and critical thinking skills related to Computational Thinking. he first version of thisDEM ‘Evolution’ has been used to validate its own Graphical User Interface and programming. A pilotproof of this DEM was executed with a stude t group from the module Programming Logic. The resultsof this testing have been used to make the necessary adjustments and improvements for the challengesof the DEM.
